Discover the whole spectrum of furniture industry products at UMIDS!

The Krasnodar furniture exhibition is the second in Russia by the number of exhibitors and visitors. We expected to see a large number of visitors, but the interest in our stand was so high that in the first 2 days of the exhibition, despite the large number of stand staff, we worked at maximum capacity to answer customer questions. One of our key achievements this year is the negotiations with a company from Volgograd, with which we plan to further develop partnership relations to expand our presence in this region. UMIDS has grown greatly over the past few years. We are pleased to witness its development every year.

LIGA has been participating in UMIDS for the 11th year! This year, we presented more than 15 units of the most modern equipment at the exhibition. For some of the machines, this was a world premiere. Furniture manufacturers from all over Russia come to UMIDS to get information about what is happening on the market and about new products. We are expecting guests from Penza, Cheboksary, Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg, Moscow, and, of course, from all over the Southern and North Caucasian Federal Districts.

The time and place of the event – spring, the beginning of the season, and the southern region – are the optimal combination for presenting garden furniture. This is confirmed by the number of business contacts we have collected. UMIDS is one of the largest and most popular exhibitions in Russia among representatives of garden and outdoor furniture. This is a key advantage that attracts the target audience interested in our products.

This is not the first time that MDM Company has been exhibiting at UMIDS, and we always expect a large number of visitors, but this year the exhibition exceeded all expectations in terms of the number of visitors to our stand!

The exhibition in Krasnodar has its own special vibe - here clients communicate on a friendly note. And, unlike many exhibitions, UMIDS is remembered for its warm, friendly meetings with many clients.

UMIDS is probably the second largest furniture exhibition in Russia after Moscow. What makes it special is that it is held in a region that is currently developing at a breakneck pace. Every year, a large number of new individual entrepreneurs working in the furniture industry appear here, and new companies are opened. This is a unique feature of this region. And it is at UMIDS that you can get new contacts. In a day and a half, we have already collected several hundred useful contacts, and over the entire period of the exhibition, I am sure, we will exceed a thousand.

Every year we introduce new products at UMIDS. We would meet new customers here, negotiate with potential wholesale partners. Each show delivers over 500 contacts and at least half of them converts to contracts.

UMIDS helps us to develop our customer base, find new sales channels in Krasnodar region, Crimea, meet our current partners and show our new products. There are many attendees from different Russian cities.

Our company is engaged in the production and supply of furniture fittings and components. We decided to take part in the exhibition for the first time in order to find dealers who would sell our products in the Krasnodar region. We hold some negotiations at UMIDS and achieved preliminary agreements, I think there will be good results. There are a lot of interested visitors at the show.

This is the fifth time we exhibit at UMIDS. In terms of efficiency, I can say that this exhibition is no worse than in Moscow – the figures prove this. Here we collect almost as many questionnaires as in Moscow, while we incur much less costs. For us, of course, it is very profitable and promising. Exhibitions are necessary not only for large market players, but also for new businesses. Exhibiting helps to raise brand awareness not only among consumers, but also within the industry, as partners come from all over Russia – from Kamchatka to Moscow. Our first two years of exhibiting at UMIDS were devoted to building up relations, generating clients base, and by the third year we came to the point of being recognised by the regional market. Today our presence at the trade fair is mostly about maintaining customer loyalty and brand awareness.
